Order Processing Time
All items are made to order. Please allow a minimum of 3 business days for order processing before shipment. This timeframe allows for proper baking, cooling, packaging, and quality checks.
Processing times may vary depending on order size, custom requests, holidays, or high-volume periods.
Shipping Timeframes
Once your order has been completed and shipped, you will receive a confirmation notification. Shipping time begins after the processing period and varies based on the shipping method selected and the carrier’s delivery schedule.
Heap of Sweets is not responsible for shipping delays caused by the carrier, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Shipping Rates & Pricing Changes
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are based on order size, weight, destination, and selected shipping method.
The owner of Heap of Sweets reserves the right to change shipping prices, fees, methods, or procedures at any time without prior notice. Any changes will apply to future orders and will not affect orders already placed and confirmed.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Heap of Sweets is not responsible for lost, delayed, or misdelivered packages due to incorrect or incomplete address information.
If a package is returned due to an address error, additional shipping fees may apply for reshipment.
Delayed or Lost Packages
Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, Heap of Sweets is not liable for delays, damage, or lost packages caused by the carrier.
While we are happy to assist with filing a claim when applicable, refunds or replacements are not guaranteed for shipping-related issues beyond our control.
Perishable Items
Due to the perishable nature of baked goods, customers should ensure someone is available to receive the package upon delivery. Heap of Sweets is not responsible for spoilage, melting, or damage caused by delayed delivery or unattended packages.
Cancellations & Order Changes
Order cancellations or changes must be requested within 24 hours of placing the order. Requests made after this window may not be accepted due to ingredient purchasing and preparation.
Once an order has entered the baking or packaging stage, it cannot be canceled or modified.
Returned Packages
If a package is returned due to refusal, failed delivery attempts, or incorrect address information, the order will not be refunded. Additional fees may apply if reshipment is requested.
Force Majeure
Heap of Sweets is not responsible for shipping delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, carrier disruptions, or government restrictions.
